Who we are
Postie is made and run by Tekhx, San Pablo City, Laguna, Philippines (“we”). This policy covers this website, https://postie.tekhx.com, and the Postie app that Tekhx runs here. A business that buys Postie runs its own copy on its own server, with its own network apps; that business is responsible for what its copy keeps, under its own privacy policy.
What this website keeps
- What you send through the contact form: your name, email, business, mobile number if given, and your message. It is emailed to us and kept as a lead so we can reply and follow up.
- The spam check: Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form is sent by a person. Only its token and your IP address go to Cloudflare, nothing you typed.
- Server logs: the address that asked for a page and when, kept for security for up to 30 days.
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your own browser only.
What the Postie app keeps when you connect an account
When a social account is connected so that posts can be published for it, the app keeps the account’s name, its id on the network, its public link and picture, and the access token the network issued, stored encrypted and never shown on any screen. It reads the numbers the network reports for the posts it published (reach, engagement). It does not read your messages or your friends list.
Why, and on what basis
To answer you and quote you (your request), to publish and measure what a business asks us to post (the contract), and to keep the service secure (our legitimate interest). We never sell your details, and we never add you to a newsletter you did not ask for.
How long
An enquiry is kept for as long as we are talking, and for two years after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. A connected account’s token is kept until it is disconnected or a deletion is asked for.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, and you may complain to the National Privacy Commission. For a connected social account, the data deletion page has three ways to remove it.
